We’re still working on the new EP, but I’m happy to say that the end is very close. I feel like a broken record: “Ahh, just a couple more weeks and it should be done.” But we really are close, as all the recording is done and now it’s just mixing and mastering. I’m hoping to have the album release show in NYC sometime in mid-January. Stay tuned for that.
The album is still untitled but I’m very excited to say that Casey Joseph Deming will be doing the cover art! I’m certainly no art critique, but Casey’s work just struck me. You can check out Casey’s work, everything from collages to prints by going to the website: www.aptlull.com.

Over the past couple of months I’ve been working in the studio on my new, yet to be titled, EP. Since the release of my last album, I’ve become a lot more interested in working collaboratively with someone on this new batch of songs. I’m starting to see the greater importance of making a song the best it can be, as opposed to it being about me. For a long time I was fearful of having someone else come in and cloud up my personal vision/expression. I was seeing my songs as so much of a representation of me that I couldn’t let them stand on their own. Anyway, I’m seeing how that outlook can really jam up the process, and possibility, of making a great project.
Knowing that I really wanted to work with someone this time around, I did a lot of searching on the internet. Combed through a lot of the albums that I’ve been listening to recently and tried to figure out who was involved in making them.
